Bouche

Significantly in the same taste as the so-called Montparnasse frames, the Bouche frames, named after their manufacturer, were in vogue in the 1940s. Carved wooden frames with light patina, derived from gray or ocher, they are provided with an original geometric decoration based on pointed diamonds, wavelets, lines, dots, etc. These frames are marked on the back with the name of the manufacturer. By extension, the Bouche style frames take up these characteristics but are not marked on the back.
